Muting your phone – iPhone

Why do you want to know this?

Have you ever been in a movie theater or at an important occasion when someone’s phone rings? Everyone looks at the person and thinks, “Why don’t you silence your phone.” You may even see the person push something on their phone. Then it happens again to the same person a few minutes later. It is not that they do not want to silence it is that they do not know how.

How do you make it happen?

Look at the side of the phone and you will see a button you can slide up or down. When it is turned on the space looks grey. When you move it down it turns RED and it will be on mute (see picture below).

This is the fastest and easiest way to silence your phone without having to lose your internet or other things you may want to keep open.
